Texas Cotton Gin Museum (and Gift Shop) - Please stop by for a visit! We are home to the oldest operating cotton gin in America- the 1914 Burton Farmers Gin. Guests are treated to a complimentary video of cotton being ginned and baled right here at our historic gin. Enjoy the exhibits and take home a cotton souvenir from our gift shop!

COTTON GIN TOURS – Tour includes presentation on cotton, 20 minute video “Cotton: From Wagon to Finished Bale” and guided tour of historic 1914 Burton Farmers Gin – tour lasts approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Emergencies do come up….It is recommended you call before traveling a long distance to make sure we are open. We want your visit to be a 100% pleasant experience here at the Cotton Gin!  Please note** There are no tours of the gin during festival week (festival is held the 3rd Saturday in April unless that is Easter weekend, which it is in 2019, so Festival will be the 4th Saturday, April 27, in 2019).
